End of year agenda

I hope you are fine since... oh my, the previous newsletter was already end of May !
I have been a bit lenient towards myself lately, about the updates (or the lack thereof) on my participation to events ; now seems like a good time for last-minute amends !

Markets season is ongoing, which always precedes that of gifts.
My calendar is fairly full for the end of year, which means lots of chances to meet. :)

The short version :

- 25th and 26th of October : medieval festivities and animations at the Cathedral of Lausanne
- from 31st of October to 2nd of November : Mythlight Fair at Echallens
- from 7th to 16th of November : Automnales market at Palexpo, Geneva

Medieval festivities at the Cathedral of Lausanne

The Cathedral of Lausanne is celebrating its 750th birthday !
For the occasion, craftsmen from multiple domains of expertise, as well as medieval companies, have volunteered to re-enact life as it was during this noble lady's first years.
Camp life, weapons showcase, textile crafts, stone carving, coin minting, or even medieval songs will take place around and inside of the building.
I am pleased to be part of this event, and will gladly explain the making of books : a mix of bookbinding technics from the XIIIth century, as well as my own craft.

The planning of festivities :
- Satursday 25th of October, from 10am to 8pm
- Sunday 26th of October, from 11:30am to 4pm

Mythlight Fair

Following the unfortunate postponing of the Arcana festival, we finally have a cause for celebration : the Arcana association is renewing its amazing Mythlight Fair !
Past year offered us a fantastic crafts market, with many exhibitors showcasing losts of beautiful creations, and many visitors - you! - in a friendly and comfy mood.
This year should be the same, except with even more artists and creators to meet.

All this happens at Echallens (VD) from th 31st of October to the 2nd of November.
About the mood this year... It is said to be delightfully frightening, startlingly ghastly, and overall very much hair-rising, as should Halloween be.

The event will take place like so :
- Friday 31st of October from 4pm to 10pm
- Saturday 1st of November from 10am to 10pm
- Sunday 2nd of November from 10am to 6pm

Automnales Market

The every-year rendez-vous of the whole Geneva terroir !
You know the recipe : a base of household savoir-faire, a tad of insurances, a drop of viticulture, add some clothing fashion, sprinkle with a bit of craftsmanship, mix it all together with your brand-new turbo-mixer-harvester-robot (as seen on TV), and you get the iconic event marking the arrival of the rainy days.

And this year... me !
