Welcome!
My name is Julien.

I'm an independant, self-taught craftsman from Geneva, Switzerland.
I bind books and grimoires by hand, using covers of wood and leather.

Specialized in massive and sturdy covers, I'm always experimenting techniques to reach for an ancient look, to evoke a bygone age.
As those items are crafted using a wide array of natural materials, each book has its own quirks ; a specific knot in the wood, a shadow in the leather, or the odd way a page was burnt.
